As a proud Hoosier, Lasima Packett has dedicated her life to public service. Lasima served her country in the Indiana National Guard for two decades, retiring in 2018 as a decorated veteran. Her retirement marked the start of following her passions for quality education and civic engagement, where she has since dedicated herself to mentoring, community building, and advocacy. As a mother and grandmother, Lasima is committed to improving Indiana for future generations of Hoosiers, and she’s ready to continue her career of service at the Indiana Statehouse.
