My Priorities
-
High-quality education is vital to Indiana’s future, and every child deserves to have the resources and tools they need to succeed. I’ll expand quality childcare and early learning options, strengthen K–12 schools, and build pathways to local careers so our investments in children stay here, preventing talent flight and creating opportunities for every Hoosier.
As your state senator, I’ll work to:
Invest in education and our future workforce
Expand early childhood education and access to quality childcare
Ensure fair and equitable school funding, so that public schools have the funding and support they need to succeed
Support teachers with better pay and classroom resources
Expand STEM and dual-credit programs, offering more opportunities for hands-on learning and technical training, to give students real choices and control over their educational and career paths
Prioritize student mental health and ensure school safety
-
I’ll fight for safe streets, strong schools, and reliable public services by protecting essential funding and ensuring new development pays its fair share, so every neighborhood has stable investment, well-maintained infrastructure and a future where working families aren’t carrying the burden.
At the Indiana Statehouse, I’ll strive to:Prioritize investment in public safety services
Champion affordable housing and tax fairness
Ensure equitable education funding
Help seniors age in place with dignity and home support programs
Protect public services and build infrastructure that works for all Hoosiers
-
Indiana families face rising healthcare costs and gaps in coverage that leave seniors, working adults, and low-income residents behind. Every Hoosier deserves quality care, regardless of age, income, or ZIP code. I’ll prioritize accessible, affordable healthcare and put our community’s well-being first.
In the State Senate, I’ll fight to:Advocate for policies that control rising healthcare costs and reduce burdens on working families
Protect access, especially for our most vulnerable, seniors, working families, and those on Medicaid.
Promote mental health and addiction services, ensuring care is available in every neighborhood.
Support incentives for primary care, community-based clinics, and telemedicine options
Bring transparency and accountability to healthcare funding, protecting patients
